Dr. Terrance Clark

Dr. Clark graduated in 1986 from OHSU here in Portland, and then completed a general practice residency at the University Hospital and Portland Veterans Administration in 1987. He has since completed thousands of hours of continuing education and has been an instructor/mentor for dental implantology for over 15 years. Dr. Clark has been a guest lecturer for the American Dental Association and has presented at nearly every major dental school in the country in the last 10 years. He wrote a course on Ethics and Professionalism for the ADA that is used through out the country for junior and senior dental students. He was a co-founder and Director of Pacific Dental Seminars and has served as the President of the Oregon Implant Seminars, and other local study clubs. Dr. Clark has served as President of his local dental society and has completed terms as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President and Program Chairman. He has hosted guest lecturers for the ADA, the AGD, and numerous other local dental societies. Dr. Clark has been a presenter at numerous state dental societies and has lectured at the ADA’s annual national meetings.

Dr. Clark is active in his community and in his church. He is an Eagle Scout and has served as a Scout Master and District Chairman for the Columbia Pacific Council. He has been married for 31 years to his wife Laraine, is the father of three children Wendy, Tom and Leah, and has four grandchildren, named: Shane, Kailee, Evans and Samantha.

In 1986 Dr. Clark was the leader of a group of water skiers who set a world record water skiing the entire length of the Columbia River. He is an avid snow skier and hiker. He loves to fish and scuba dive. He competes in local triathlons, frequently rides the Seattle to Portland bike ride in one day and just finished his first marathon in 2005. Dr. Clark recently accepted an invitation to volunteer for his faith as a mission president. He is currently living in Singapore, Malaysia. He is overseeing the Christian missionary service of over one hundred volunteer missionaries. He will complete his assignment as mission president in 2012.
