When wisdom teeth come in they are
usually what dentists call impacted teeth. This is when the mouth
no longer has room left for these large molars. As implacted teeth
come into the mouth they can cause the jaw and teeth to become unaligned.
Impacted teeth can also cause the teeth to get trapped under the
gum tissue and create bleeding, swelling and pain. This can lead
to further complications and possibly even life threatening infections
later in adult life. The best thing to do when you can feel your
wisdom teeth coming in is to talk to your dentist. The sooner you
get them taken care of the less complications will arise.
